Dream of the Nineties, Redux.

I had a dream, and it was the '90's. There were dogs there, and donuts, and food trucks on every single corner, and every single block of the '90's either had tattoos or a forest full of trees, and the trees were tall and the trees were mighty, and tattoos were good.

Everyone in the '90's had dogs, and there was artisan EVERYTHING. Artisan DOGS, man. Dig. I had exactly the right clothes, because there were flannels, and there were boots, and there were sneakers, and there were fleeces. You could just go out and wear a fleece, because it was a dream, and in the dream it was the '90's.

And poodles. There were poodles in my dream. Big, huge, fluffy white ones. The poodles were calling out to me. Come to Poodletopia, you and your little dogs. Except their voices, flowing beautifully from fluffy poodle snouts, sounded like the guy in Pearl Jam. The Eddie Vedder poodles, they were calling me over the mountains, to drive over them, in my trusty diesel powered station wagon. It would be like the '90's, and there would be dogs, and a topia. And vegan food trucks.

This was my dream. Dig it.

We will be sure to show you a good time. Maybe not vegan food strip club good time (food is horrible and the strippers have bad tattoos), but certainly a good time.

Let's say, hypothetically, someone had one day to walk around with their dogs in Portland and eat from food trucks. Where in Portland do you think they would want to do this?

There are food carts in every neighborhood. I would say downtown, SE, and NE are your best bets for all things Portland. We are very small in terms of city size, you could visit all three areas in a day.

Hypothetically, if I were your tour guide I could maximize your time. Having grown up in Portland I know the area well.

One of these days I'd like to visit Portland. Hope you get to live the dream!
