Breathtaking red carpet moments at Oscar night with Team Small Dog.

The world's biggest stars are making their way down the red carpet into the theater.

The fans are pressing up against the barricades. Spectacular.

Breathtaking. Just made for the red carpet.

The limos keep pulling up and dumping out car loads of drunk movie stars. We can barely stand it. Meryl Streep is in there.

I was standing right here, when a lady pointed across the road.

"You see?" she said.

I'm like, "Yeah. Palm tree."

"No, no, no. Look there." She gestured over to the side of the palm tree. "Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie."

I squinted, but I couldn't see them all the way across Hollywood Boulevard. I nodded anyways, and was like, "Wow! Thanks!" And then we parted ways.

The corner of Hollywood and Highland, this is where the magic happens.

This is Mann's Chinese Theater, just located next door. The stone work out front, also breathtaking. If you look closely, you can see all the stars' footprints in the cement.

There was a big, dead, chicken on the red carpet. Also a guy shooting up under a bush. Nobody else seemed to notice. Cinema verite.

Musical tribute to those who passed. Solemn.

The fans, they are waiting. We are stoked to be walking the red carpet. We'd like to thank the academy. And off we go.

I know. I can't believe no one from cable tv has ever invited me to do live coverage on camera. So weird.
